History

Santander Barrio Educational Institution was established on January 22, 1981 by Decree0093 under the name Department IDEM Santander, Academic mode directed by the Lord Jesus ARBELAEZ LOPEZ as the first rector. By 1989 establishing a form ofmarketing and Humanities, was later replaced by the academic.

By Resolution 5753 of July 27, 2001 approving the CLEI Baccalaureate different nightwith academic mode. At the same name is changed: it goes from High School to CollegeBarrio Barrio Santander Santander.

In 2001 he started work at the new headquarters the current Rector, OMAR PALACIOS CUESTA and through Resolution 16 235 of November 17, 2002, applies the joint with the School State of Israel, and manages the creation of the Media Technician Software Design, which currently form the institution, by resolution 280 of November 2003.
